Privacy

What we store

We store account details, worksheet settings and content, folders, packs, assignment responses, subscription status, and product events needed to run and improve the service. Guest worksheets expire automatically. Student assignment links use generated codes; please do not enter student names or sensitive student information.

Location

We use your request IP address to estimate your country and show the matching classroom format and pricing. Our IP-country provider receives the address for this lookup. The country result is cached in your session; we do not add the raw IP address to your account profile.

Generation and import providers

When language generation, translation, or PDF/image worksheet import is needed, worksheet context and teacher-provided content or files may be sent to OpenRouter and the selected model provider. TXT, CSV, and DOCX imports are parsed locally. Deterministic mathematics is generated locally and is not sent to an AI provider.

Email and payments

Brevo delivers transactional email when configured. Stripe processes subscription payments when configured. We do not store card numbers.

Public visit analytics

We use a cookie-free, self-hosted visit and engagement counter alongside GoatCounter on public product, template, teacher-library, comparison, pricing, legal, and curriculum topic pages. The self-hosted counter records the page URL, campaign tags, external referrer, broad browser, operating-system and device details, approximate location supplied by our network provider, and time while the page is visible. It stores no raw IP address and retains raw events for up to 90 days. GoatCounter receives the page path, complete URL query string, and browser-supplied referrer. Neither counter is loaded on account, dashboard, team, editor, shared worksheet, assignment, authentication, administration, or API pages. Browser Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals disable both counters. A browser-exclusion preference can suppress them on one browser profile for up to 400 days. The public analytics dashboard can also exclude the current public IP for up to 400 days; it stores a keyed one-way hash and address family rather than the raw address. Shared or changing public IPs can affect who is excluded.

A signed browser-exclusion link can set a first-party preference cookie for up to 400 days. On that browser profile it suppresses both public counters and WorksheetGenerator's own product-usage events. It does not create an IP blocklist or server-side device record.

Your choices

Account & privacy lets you export your data, review email-verification and subscription status, revoke individual shared links, and permanently delete your account and associated content without contacting support.
